Jade Goody told sweetheart Jack Tweed to ‘find another when I’m gone’ just hours before they married in a lavish ceremony on Sunday.
The cancer-stricken former Big Brother star, who has been given just weeks to live with terminal cancer, battled through her pain to wed Jack at Down Hall Country House Hotel in Hatfield Heath, Hertfordshire.
A family friend told The Sun: “It was Jade’s dying wish to marry Jack. But she’s so selfless and wants him to be happy. She’s told him he should see other people when he feels the time is right.”
Wearing a £3,500 Manuel Mota dress, Jade defied her illness to stand beside Jack for most of the 45-minute service.
The couple made their vows with Jade’s sons Bobby, five, and four-year-old Freddie, sitting on her knees.
Later, Jade moved wedding guests to tears as she stood to deliver a 30-minute speech and admitted: “I’m praying for a miracle.”
Jade’s publicist Max Clifford told The Sun: “She was on her feet for half an hour talking. She thanked everyone, but also said she was praying for a miracle.”
The wedding was high-security after 27-year-old Jade sold the picture of the ceremony for almost £1 million, as Jade is hoping to raise as much as she can for her sons.
