Sallie Axl has become the first housemate to be evicted from Big Brother 2013 after losing out to Gina Rio in the first public vote of the series.
The 26-year-old model had been nominated by fellow housemate Michael earlier in the week along with Gina and celebrity publicist Dexter Koh.
However Dexter was later saved from the chop after the nominees had to appeal to Michael to allow them to remain in the house – leaving Sallie and Gina to fight it out.
Although Gina had previously been the favourite to leave, Sallie was eventually given the boot in what was reportedly one of the closest eviction votes of all time.
While the trio appeared to be nominated by Michael, they were in fact chosen by the public, who have been controlling his actions throughout the week.
Sallie received a hostile reaction from the crowd as she emerged from the house – having clearly made herself unpopular with her volatile personality.
During her short time in the house she was involved in an almighty bust-up with Ginaand launched a verbal attack on Dexter in which she accused him of being an ‘absolute snake’.
She also promised to make Michael’s life a ‘living hell’ after his actions led to her suitcase being shredded and her subsequent nomination
However Sallie attempted to defend herself during her eviction interview with presenter Emma Willis – during which she insisted she was just being honest.
“I just don’t like fake people, and I’m always going to say what I think…I wanted to cause a bit of trouble and I don’t regret one minute,’ she said.
“I was just being me, I’m usually like that. But I do have a soft side.”
Friday’s show also saw Michael leave the house after his true identity as an actor working for Big Brother was revealed.
