Alesha Dixon has said she is unsure whether she will return as a judge on the next series of Britain’s Got Talent.

Speaking to The Sun the former Mis-teeq singer – who quit Strictly Come Dancing to join the ITV1 show alongside Simon Cowell, David Walliams and Amanda Holden – said she had no clue what would happen next year.

“They have said they’d like me back but until I sign on that dotted line you just don’t know,” Alesha said.

However she added that she was not expecting to be asked to appear on The X Factor instead, saying, “I am not waiting for that phone call.”

Alesha also revealed that she has no regrets about leaving Strictly for the ITV1 show.

“I make decisions based on my gut instinct and it felt right. I have not got a bad word to say about Strictly, I loved everything about it during my time there,” she admitted.

“I embrace change though. I like to do new things and I think it is about evolving as a person.”

She also spoke highly of her time on BGT, saying, “When we got to the final few I’d have been happy with Loveable Rogues winning or Jonathan and Charlotte.

“All of the judges said that was the beauty of the final – you thought every act was worthy of being there. At that point it is down to the public and they do not often get it wrong. So that is why I thought the right winner won.”
