Amanda Holden has confirmed she will return as a judge on next year’s Britain’s Got Talent.

She brushed off speculation that she may not appear on the panel due to a shake-up, labelling the stories ‘rubbish’.

The star told Closer: “The rumours I’m leaving are rubbish – I can’t wait to be a judge on Britain’s Got Talent next year.”

The 39-year-old added: “I’ve spoken to Simon and the producers and they definitely want me back.”

Following hints from her co-stars Simon Cowell and Piers Morgan that they’ll be leaving the hit ITV1 show, Amanda said: “It’ll be scary without my two favourite boys, but I’m sure they’ll find some feisty replacements.

“The new line-up hasn’t been confirmed – James Corden isn’t a definite. Britain’s Got Talent is taking over the X Factor slot in the summer.”
