The public and the judges have selected their wildcards to advance to tomorrow’s Britain’s Got Talent final – and they are performing dog act Trip Hazard and ballet-dancing couple, Shannon and Peter.
The public vote went to Trip Hazard, which is Lucy and her Maltese-Pomeranian cross, who impressed in Thursday’s semi-final, but lost out to impressionist Craig Ball and singer Jasmine Elcock.
On getting the wildcard and another chance to perform for the public, judges and potentially the Royal Family, Lucy said: “We are so thrilled and so thankful for the support and to have been selected as the public wildcard. We can’t wait to get back on that stage and have the opportunity to hopefully make everyone smile again and show off more of what Trip can do!”
The judges chose husband and wife ballet dancers, Shannon and Peter, who impressed the judges in MOnday’s semi, but came third behind singer Wayne Woodwrd and sword swallower Alex Magala.
The couple said: “We are more than ecstatic about being the judges’ wildcard. We are also truly humbled and feel blessed to have their support and belief in us.There are no words to describe how much support we’ve had as well from the British public. This is the biggest thing that’s ever happened to us and we want to make everyone proud.”
Trip Hazard and Shannon and Peter will join 100 Voices of Gospel, Boogie Storm, Jasmine Elcock, Alex Magala, Balance Unity, Beau Dermott, Craig Ball, Richard Jones, Mel & Jamies and Wayne Woodward in the Britain’s Got Talent Live Final – Saturday at 7.30pm on ITV.
