Britain’s Got Talent hosts Ant and Dec have admitted they’d love it if their Golden Buzzer act beat those chosen by the show’s judges.

Speaking at the Dominion Theatre as this year’s BGT auditions arrived in London, Ant said: “We buzzed on the first morning of the first day but they were a really good dance troupe and deserved it. And Dec said that if their chosen act ended up winning: “We will dine out on that for a long time and we will not let the judges forget it either.”

He then added: “It’s a bit like how David’s been winding up Simon now that he’s the nation’s favourite TV judge,” referring to just David Walliams’ recent win at the National TV awards. “Any time Simon disagrees with David the award comes out and he tells him: ‘Remember, I’m the nation’s favourite TV judge’.”

The pair also revealed some of their on-stage antics with some of this year’s auditionees, but admit they hated judging!
