Britain’s Got Talent star Maarty Broekman wants to make music with judge Alesha Dixon, and is planning to get in touch with her after the finals.
The eccentric Dutch singer – who raised eyebrows on the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel when he performed shirtless on the show wearing only a red leather jacket, sequinned leather trousers and a headband in his curly hair – told Alesha he thought she was very pretty and blew her a kiss during his audition.
Maarty performed his own 80s-inspired son Backdoor Lover, accompanying himself on his keytar.
He said: “Maybe Alesha and I can write music together. I don’t think the judges can perform with me in the finals, this is not how it works, because they are the judges. But it would be nice.
“I wait ’til after I win and then I contact Alesha, I say ‘Come let’s make music together!'”
The 23-year-old wants to bring back 80s music. He said: “I like the stars from the 80s, they’re nice, it’s all good music and I want to make it back. I want to be like Freddie Mercury, but without the teeth sticking out.”
Maarty has promised he will write a new song especially for the final if he gets through, and said: “I know Simon [Cowell] will like this song, and the whole British as well.”
