Dannii hasn’t ruled out Britain’s Got Talent role

Dannii Minogue isn’t ruling out a role on the Britain’s Got Talent judging panel.

The former X Factor judge is rumoured to be on the shortlist to replace comic Michael McIntyre and ex-Baywatch star David Hasselhoff, who won’t be returning for the next series of the ITV1 show.

Dannii – mum to one-year-old Ethan, told Heart FM: “I don’t have any TV booked in for the next year at the moment. I haven’t made any decisions. but there’s always stuff in the pipeline – let’s see what happens.

“At the moment for me it’s all about family and being back in Australia and the little one not missing out on those first few days. But I do love the show – it’s so funny and you’ve always got a dog trying to sing in tune, and I’m trying to imagine the Queen watching that.”

Dannii also revealed she is still in touch with former X Factor co-star Cheryl Cole, who was axed from the US version of the show.

“It’s been a big year she’s been through with the American X Factor and you know she’s been incredible to work with, she was always there as a support for me when I had tough days because it’s a tough show.”

And she explained why she wasn’t returning to the panel for this year’s X Factor.

“The dates of the filming got put back twice and I’d already started Australia’s Got Talent so by the time they said OK here it is, let’s do the show, it would’ve meant my flying back from Australia once a week for 10 weeks with a one year old child and I’d just got out of hospital three days before having my appendix out and I was like, I’m sorry, but it’s not possible.”
