Diversity have revealed a residency in Las Vegas is in the works, but they have yet to schedule it in.
The Britain’s Got Talent act, who won the ITV1 show in 2009, said they currently don’t have the time to fit a long stay in Sin City into their lives, because of their existing commitments with Got To Dance and the upcoming tour.
“It would be great to take our show out to Europe and America, and have a residency in Vegas. We’ve had various talks, not just about Vegas, but about different parts of the world,” said Ashley.
The 25-year-old, who is the lead choreographer for Diversity, explained: “The problem is Jordan and Perri have their presenting, I’ve got the judging for Got To Dance, then there’s the training, the tour, the performing and our new clothing line, which we are launching.
“We’re quite multi-dimensional. We don’t just do one thing so it’s hard to sometimes leave the UK because we balance so many plates. We have to put our whole heart, passion and hard work into everything that’s going on here, so it’s easier said than done to say, ‘Let’s go on tour and leave the UK for four months’.”
He added: “It’s more about when as opposed to how. But we are definitely set to go further afield, let’s put it that way. We’ve done way more than we could have possibly dreamed.”
The group – who have created a series of optical illusion dance routines to celebrate the launch of Cadbury Dairy Milk Marvellous Mix-Ups – will embark on their rebooted Limitless tour in November. They’re also headed to Africa for a new Sky show.
“We’ve had our jabs,” Ashley said. “What we’re doing is a surprise at the moment. It’s something we’ve never done before, so we are nervous about what we’re going to see, but also excited. It’ll be cool.”
