Dance troupe Diversity could be set for the big screen once again – this time starring in their own movie.

The group – who won the 2009 series of Britain’s Got Talent – already made their movie debut in Street Dance 3D last summer, but their taste of film stardom has left them wanting more.

“The film thing for us is closer than people expect, and I’m pretty sure it will happen in the near future,” revealed lead choreographer Ashley Banjo.

He also said the group would have some involvement in the 2012 London Olympics but did not give further details.

“I can’t confirm yet, but as a group we’re definitely going to be involved in the Olympics in a performance sense,” he said.

And Ashley added that he was amazed by Diversity’s continued popularity, even two years on from their talent show win.

“I’m quite confident that people would always enjoy us, whether we were popular or not, but since Britain’s Got Talent it’s been like a snowball effect; it’s been more and more popular,” he said.

“That proves the public really enjoy what we do, because it’s more than two years now since the show and we’re about to embark on our biggest tour yet, not our smallest one. That’s a good sign when the public keep coming back for more.”
