ITV has made significant changes to the coming week’s schedule to accommodate coverage of Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester concert broadcast on BBC1 on Sunday night.made changes to its weekend schedule, the details of which are as the follows:
The Britain’s Got Talent Final has moved from Sunday night, and will now take place live on Saturday, June 3rd at 7.30pm.
The British Soap Awards which was to be broadcast live on Saturday night will now screen on Tuesday, June 6th at 8pm.
An ITV spokesperson said: “Ariana Grande’s One Love Manchester benefit concert is bringing artists and the public together, and will raise funds for the Red Cross’s Manchester Emergency Fund. ITV and Britain’s Got Talent have no desire to distract from this important cause, so we have taken the decision to move the Britain’s Got Talent Final from Sunday night.”
One Love Manchester will feature a world-class pop line-up, including Ariana Grande herself, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Pharrell, Usher, Miley Cyrus, Take That and Niall Horan of One Direction.
BBC1 will broadcast the One Love Manchester concert from 6pm on Sunday.
