The latest two acts to make it through to Saturday night’s live Britain’s Got Talent final on Wednesday night were Les Gibson and James Hobley.

They join New Bounce and Jean Martyn from Tuesday’s show and Ronan Parke and Paul Gbegbaje from Monday night.

Les Gibson made it through on public vote. James Hobley and Gay & Alan faced the judges to see who would win the next place in Saturday’s final, with James proceeding after getting the winning vote from David, Michael and Simon.

Judge Michael McIntyre said of impressionist Les: “That was absolutely brilliant, you were really polished, your Gordon Ramsay was absolutely brilliant, your Dec is perfect, I could listen to it all night… You’re a real threat to this competition!”

Simon Cowell eulogised autistic dancer James: “I really, really like you – you are totally committed, your choice of music was inspired. I told Leona you were going to be dancing to [Happy] and she was absolutely thrilled. It was absolutely fantastic, well done.”
