Simon Cowell is reportedly set to fly Britain’s Got Talent winners Ashleigh and Pudsey to Los Angeles in a bid to make the pooch a four-legged film star.
According to The Sun on Sunday, the mogul plans to bring the pair to Tinseltown in his private jet – and will even have a special kennel installed for Pudsey at his LA mansion.
“He is welcome at my home,” Simon reportedly told friends. “I love dogs. And anyone who stays with me stays in luxury.
He added, “I’m more excited about Pudsey than most of the singing acts I’ve found. That little dog is going to become the most famous dog in the world. I genuinely believe he will be warmly received by Hollywood.”
Ashleigh and Pudsey pocketed a £500,000 prize and a slot on the Royal Variety Performance after winning Saturday’s final ahead of operatic duo Jonathan and Charlotte.
She said of her victory, “I had no idea we would win. I just wanted to get to the final and do our best.”
The 17-year-old – who wowed the judges with a Mission Impossible-themed routine in the final – added she couldn’t wait to help her talented pet become “the new Lassie”.
“I think Pudsey would be just brilliant at it,” she said. “As soon as he sees a camera he’s there waiting to pose.”
