Troubled Britain’s Got Talent runner-up Susan Boyle has reportedly left the Priory clinic where she was recuperating from an anxiety attack and exhaustion.
Her brother, Gerry Boyle, told GMTV that his sister was ‘much happier’ and was staying with him in a flat in central London.
“She’s much happier. She’s seems a lot more like herself,” he said.
Boyle said people had reassured her that it ‘wasn’t the end’ for her singing career when she finished in Saturday’s competition and then reportedly became hysterical backstage.
Gerry added: “Things are becoming clearer for her now. She’s now beginning to believe that, ‘Yes indeed, I will be a singer’.”
It’s still unclear whether she will join the Britain’s Got Talent tour, which begins next Friday.
A spokeswoman for Susan told the BBC: “At this stage we’re not saying anything. Susan is still recovering and we ask to respect her privacy.”
