Why Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda Holden is buzzing

Amanda Holden has revealed she has asked Simon Cowell for a prize if her Golden Buzzer choice wins Britain’s Got Talent.

The new twist to the ITV talent show gives judges Simon, Amanda, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon the chance to choose one favourite act to send straight through to the live rounds, by hitting their golden buzzer, regardless of what their fellow panellists think.

And Amanda is tipping her chosen act to have a guaranteed place in the final.

She revealed: “I think my Golden Buzzer choice is going to definitely finish in the top three.

“And if it wins I said to Simon, does that mean I win a holiday or something?”

After seeing The X Factor Musical, I Can’t Sing!, the 43-year-old actress, who has previously starred in stage shows including Shrek The Musical, admitted she’d love to get back on the West End stage herself.

Amanda confessed: “I’d quite like to play Cruella Da Vil. I think there might be a musical about 101 Dalmatians… you heard it here first.”
