Casualty breaks hearts this week when nurse Charlie Fairhead discovers wife Duffy has had an affair. There’s no denying the truth, as the other man, Bill Crowthers, tells Charlie face-to-face about his complicated relationship with Duffy – not realising Charlie is Duffy’s husband!
Having heard the hard truth from the horse’s mouth, Charlie has no choice but to have a heart-to-heart with Duffy. Will their thirty-year courtship go up in flames in a single hospital shift? Or can Casualty’s beloved couple find a way to salvage their rocky relationship?
