Kerry Katona is one of three Celebrity Big Brother housemates who will face the first eviction vote of the series after failing her ‘diva’ task.

Model Bobby Sabel and Speaker’s wife Sally Bercow will also face the public vote next Friday – after Kerry was forced to nominate them in a cruel twist.

The singer and reality TV star had been given the task of turning herself into the biggest diva in the house by throwing a string of celebrity strops.

However her fellow housemates were unconvinced, and when asked to vote for the biggest diva all of them voted for Jedward – except for Kerry, who chose herself.

As a result she was automatically nominated for eviction next Friday – but was also told she must choose two other housemates for nomination.

And Kerry, who was being watched by her fellow contestants on screens in the living area of the house, appeared clearly distressed by her punishment.

“This is awful, how can I compete as a diva when I’m with John and Edward?” she said. “This is so unfair…I can’t do this.”

Eventually, she reluctantly nominated Bobby and Sally. “But only because I don’t really know him yet,” she said of the model, and said she had chosen Sally because they “didn’t have anything in common”.

In a further twist, this year the public will vote for the housemate they want to save instead of the housemate they want to leave.

The one with the least number of votes will leave the house next Friday.

Meanwhile, Brian Dowling hinted on Friday’s show that the contestants could be receiving a “billionaire lodger” over the weekend.

And Amy Childs and Jedward provided an amusing exchange while discussing Sally in the Diary Room.

“She’s an MP,” Amy told the pair, “an MP means she owns…I think she sort of owns the House Of Commons, she owns it with her husband.”
