TV presenter Ulrika Jonsson and Austin Powers star Verne Troyer are said to be among the stars lined-up to appear in Celebrity Big Brother 2009.

Former Sugababe Mutya Buena and Shameless actress Tina Malone are also tipped to be entering the house, when the show returns on Friday, according to reports.

They will join Michael Jackson’s sister LaToya and rapper Coolio, former Scottish Socialist MSP Tommy Sheridan and outspoken broadcaster Terry Christian, the straight-talking former presenter of Channel 4’s The Word.

Joining them will be ex-Liberty X star Michelle Heaton, A1 singer Ben Adams and glamour girl Lucy Pinder.

And it’s been reported that Eighties pop icon Steve Strange, frontman of New Romantic band Visage, is in talks to complete the line-up.

Michael Barrymore, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2006, will appear as a ‘roving reporter’ on sister show, Little Brother.

While Channel 4 bosses will be hoping to avoid the controversery that surrounded the 2007 series when Jade Goody was accused of bullying Bollywood Shilpa Shetty, Ulrika has apparently already caused a stir over her fee for the show.

The News Of The World reported at the weekend that Urika will earn 175,000 pounds for her stint on the show, nearly eight times as much as some of the other celebs rumoured to be taking part.

Celebrity Big Brother 2009 launches at 9pm on Channel 4 on Friday January 2.
