Ex Corrie couple Bruce and Vicky enter Celebrity Big Brother

TV personalities including former Coronation Street star Bruce Jones and Vicky Entwistle entered the Celebrity Big Brother house on Thursday evening.

Sophie Anderton, Louie Spence and Lauren Harries have been given a secret task to spy on the other Celebrity Big Brother housemates and put one of them up for eviction, as the new series began on Channel 5.

Model Sophie, choreographer and dancer Louie and former child star Lauren were the first three famous faces to enter the house and they were immediately told to join The Cult of Celebrity and sent to a secret ‘temple’ where they watched the rest of the housemates arrive.

After the live show ended they were told to choose three housemates they were considering putting up for eviction. And on their first morning they must put one of their chosen three up for eviction immediately.

The other celebrities in the main house are blissfully unaware the other three are watching them. They include Five singer Abz, American model Courtney Stodden, former football manager Ron Atkinson and Saved By The Bell star Dustin Diamond. Also in the house are former Coronation Street stars Bruce Jones and Vicky Entwistle, who played warring couple Janice and Les Battersby, and reality TV stars Mario Falcone from The Only Way Is Essex and Charlotte Crosby from Geordie Shore.

Celebrity botox doctor Danielle Marr and Loose Women panellist Carol McGiffin are also taking part.

Carol greeted ex-Coronation Street star Vicky Entwistle and said: “I’m glad your here, I’m glad it’s not all youngsters.”

Vicky replied: “Oh I know, you should try and get down with the kids, but I can’t.”

Watching from their secret room, Sophie commented: “Us three have still got to come in,” to which Louie laughed: “I’m not young!”

Meanwhile, Lauren appeared to have fallen asleep.

Later the celebrities in the house voted Vicky and her former on-screen hubby Bruce as the ‘most famous’ which meant they had to sleep in a four poster bed in the garden.

Bookmaker William Hill has made Charlotte favourite to win at 3/1 and is offering odds of 4/1 on Louie.
