Jim Davidson has said that allegations of sex abuse against him have left him ‘damaged’.
The Celebrity Big Brother contestant told his housemate Casey Batchelor on the Channel 5 reality show about his struggle to overcome the lasting effects of the accusations, according to the Daily Mirror.
He explained to Casey: “I can’t stand injustice. If I think I’m in the right about something, I f***ing fly off the handle like mad. I do, all the time. Especially after this year. All them accusations. It broke my heart. That weren’t me at all.”
During his time in the Big Brother house, the former TV presenter has rowed with fellow contestants Linda Nolan and Luisa Zissman.
Jim added: “I’m still damaged. Because now I can’t bear someone saying: ‘You left the oven on.’…’I f***ing didn’t!’
“Sometimes you just wallow in self-pity. ‘Why me?’ I was an easy target, I guess.”
Jim was recently told he wouldn’t face further action after he was arrested on suspicion of historic sexual offences, with prosecutors saying that there was insufficient evidence
