MC Hammer, Pamela Anderson and Boy George could be set for the last series of Celebrity Big Brother – as the show’s bosses cut the number of famous faces down so they can afford bigger names.

Ten celebrities will enter the house this time round – the most in one series was 14 in 2007.

Baywatch star Pamela could be set to pocket £250,000 if she appears on the show, Ulrika Jonsson got £175,000 when she won last year.

A Celebrity Big Brother source told The Sun: “Previous CBB series have suffered because there have been too many celebs who were just not that famous.

“Producers want the final series to be the best ever – and are determined to push the boat out by signing up the biggest names they can.

“But to get big names, you have to spend big money – which means there will be less for minor stars.”

Hollywood madam Heidi Fleiss is also rumoured to be in talks to appear in the show.

The new series starts on Channel 4 on January 3.
