Apprentice star Michelle slams ‘bitchy’ Patsy

Business tycoon Michelle Mone has hit back at Patsy Palmer after their bust-up on Comic Relief Does The Apprentice – by saying: ‘I can’t stand bitches.’

It has been reported that the EastEnders actress threatened to quit the show – due to be screened on BBC1 on Thursday night – after a major row with Ultimo lingerie creator Michelle as both the male and female celebrity teams tried to create and market a toy.

As both teams worked hard to impress Sir Alan Sugar, the pair clashed when Patsy (pictured, bottom-right) accused team leader Michelle (centre) of being patronising and called her a ‘stuck-up cow’.

Lifting the lid on what had occurred on-set, Michelle told The Sun: “There were some very difficult moments right from the start. I handled them to the best of my ability and I don’t regret how I handled them.

“But I will not accept any bitchiness. I’ve had it before from Apprentice contestant Katie Hopkins in 2007. I’ve learned you can be firm but fair – you don’t need to be bitchy.”

And in a side-swipe, Michelle added: “All I can say is I’m sure Patsy is very talented at whatever it is she does.”

Relations are thought to be so frosty that Patsy – who plays Bianca Jackson in the BBC1 soap – will apparently not be joining the other nine celebrities on Friday night’s live Comic Relief show.

Michelle also revealed that she escaped from the contestants’ house when the rigours of filming took their toll.

She said: “We felt we were in The Apprentice prison. We had to run away just to keep sane.”
