Katie Price has been confirmed to star in the new series of Let’s Dance for… Comic Relief, alongside Noel Fielding, Joe Swash, Lulu and Ed Byrne.

Katie joins a host of celebs who will be taking part in the dance competition to raise money for charity when the new series kicks off on Saturday, 19 February on BBC One.

Presented by Steve Jones and Alex Jones, the star-studded line-up of contestants from the world of comedy and entertainment will perform some of the world’s most iconic dance routines in front of a live audience.

Joining Katie will be The Thick Of It star Rebecca Front, comedians Russell Kane and Ed Byrne, TV designers Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan, pop star Lulu, Chesney Hawkes, Toyah Wilcox and Caroline Flack.

There will be a rotating panel of judges, including Miranda Hart, Keith Lemon and Jason Mansford, as well as weekly performances from the likes of JLS and chart-topping Jesse J.

This year’s Let’s Dance for… Comic Relief will highlight the issue of malaria, with Steve recently visiting Uganda and Alex visiting Zambia to see the communities affected first hand by the disease.
