Coronation Street stars have gathered to say goodbye to Tina McIntyre, as they filmed a fitting funeral.
Behind-the-scenes pictures show Weatherfield residents Carla Barlow (played by Alison King), Rob Donovan (Marc Bayliss) and Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne) at the cemetery seemingly grieving for the Rovers Return barmaid.
But once the cameras stopped rolling, the cast members including Jennie McAlpine, who plays Fiz Stape, Jack P Shepherd (David Platt) and Mikey North (Gary Windass) couldn’t resist posing for a light-hearted selfie among the graves and tombstones, reported the Daily Mail.
Tina is set to meet her tragic end when she is murdered later this month, as actress Michelle Keegan, who plays her, has bowed out from Coronation Street after more than six years.
Carla, Rob and Peter are among the prime suspects in the whodunnit murder plot, alongside Rob’s girlfriend Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) and Carla’s best friend, Michelle Connor (Kym Marsh).
Tina has been having a secret affair with mum-to-be Carla’s alcoholic husband Peter and has previously been caught kissing Carla’s brother Rob.
Michelle’s exit scenes will be shown on Coronation Street from May 26.
