Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh – who recently got back together with boyfriend Jamie Lomas – has revealed she’s hoping to have more children in the future.
The Coronation Street star, who is mum to David, 14, and Emily, 11, lost her premature baby son, Archie Jay, moments after he was born in February.
Kym told Closer: “I want more kids in the future, children are amazing – the unconditional love you get from them is special.”
She added: “I have a very open relationship with David and Emily. They talk to me about stuff that kids might usually feel embarrassed to discuss with their parents. We have fun together.”
Kym, who was named Celebrity Mum Of The Year last week, said she doesn’t lavish expensive gifts on her children.
She said: “My kids appreciate everything they have now, as we used to have very little.
“I haven’t bought lots of treats. They still have to earn their pocket money by doing things like loading the dishwasher!”
The actress also spoke highly of her relationship with ex-Hollyoaks star Jamie Lomas, having recently announced they were back together after splitting up last month.
She said: “I’m back together with Jamie, that’s all I can say at the moment. I’m really happy.”
Kym recently admitted that her tragic experience with Archie had left her feeling scared about trying for another child.
