Michelle Collins is expected to reveal her soap secrets about working on EastEnders and Coronation Street in a tell-all book.

The 51-year-old actress has confirmed she plans to publish her autobiography next year.

Michelle made her name playing soap superb**** Cindy Beale in EastEnders from 1988 to 1998, before joining rival soap Coronation Street in 2011 as Rovers landlady Stella Price.

Michelle, who recently revealed she will leave the cobbles next year, said in a statement: “I’ve been asked many times to write my story, but the time has never been right. Now it’s the right time.”

The as-yet-untitled book will be published in April 2014, and will document her early career as a singer before rising to fame on television. Michelle is expected to reveal some of the ‘tempestuous relationships’ she witnessed working on Britain’s top soaps.

And her publisher Lesley O’Mara told the Daily Star: “Michelle’s own story is even more riveting than the storylines of Coronation Street.”

The actress will reportedly discuss her battles with eating disorders, how she walked out on her wedding to entrepreneur Parry Cockwell and her court battle with Italian ex-partner Fabrizio Tassalini for custody of daughter Maia.
