Coronation Street‘s Graeme Hawley has revealed he wants to appear in every single British soap.

The 37-year-old actor – who is about to make his final dramatic appearance on the cobbles as John Stape – has played police officer Martin Crowe in Emmerdale, and revealed he already has EastEnders in the bag.

Graeme revealed: “It would be quite good to get the whole set.

“I was in EastEnders when I was nine years old, and I rode a bike across the Square and stood in a telephone box.

“So I have, technically speaking, done Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders. And I’ve been in Doctors, so it’s just Hollyoaks and it’s in the bag!”

The soap star revealed he appeared in the infamous episode of EastEnders when Dirty Den fell in the canal.

He said: “I’d forgotten this but my sister said to me the other week and I think she’s right I think it was the episode when Dirty Den died in a canal, although he didn’t die.

“In the same way John Stape fell off a roof and didn’t die.”

Graeme Hawley will be back on screen as John Stape in Coronation Street on ITV1 from Monday, October 24.
