Kym Marsh has revealed she has no plans to try for more children.

The Coronation Street actress – best known for playing barmaid Michelle Connor – is mum to three-month-old daughter Polly, who was born prematurely, with Hollyoaks fiance Jamie Lomas. She also suffered a stillbirth in 2009.

Kym has two older children, while Jamie has a five-year-old son with an ex-girlfriend.

The couple have decided their family is now complete, with Kym writing in her new autobiography, From The Heart: “We have discussed it and I’m not going through that again. It’s not something I would wish on anybody.

“Polly has had a few problems but she’s a fighter and she will get there.”

The 35-year-old, who plans to return to the ITV soap in September, admitted motherhood this time around has been challenging.

“I have suffered with the baby blues a bit – I think a lot of it is from lack of sleep. It is a huge shock to the system too,” she divulged.

“It’s 13 years since I looked after a newborn so I’m starting all over again. But I’m loving it. I’ll do all I can to be the best mum I can possibly be.”
