Coronation Street’s Michael Le Vell has returned to the cobbles for the first time since he was cleared of child sex offences.

The 48-year-old actor – who was found not guilty at Manchester Crown Court earlier this month – was suspended from work at the ITV soap in February when he was charged.

Michael – who has played garage mechanic Kevin Webster in Coronation Street for 30 years – has been photographed back on the set catching up with his old pals.

He was seen chatting to Sally Dynevor, who plays his on-screen wife Sally Webster, and Ben Price, who plays Nick Tilsley.

When Michael was suspended he was written out of Coronation Street, with Sally revealing Kevin had gone to Germany to look after his father Bill after he suffered a heart attack.

Michael is expected to return to work next year.
