TV presenter Christine Bleakley has reportedly called off her wedding to footballer Frank Lampard, due to the uncertainty over his next career move.
According to the Sunday People the pair had been set to tie the knot in Northern Ireland. this summer.
However the Dancing On Ice co-host has been forced to put her plans on hold as the Chelsea and England star waits to hear which club he may move to next.
“She and Frank really want to get married – they have been engaged for two years,” a source told the paper.
“But they thought that as they have very little idea of where they could end up, the best thing was to cancel.
“They knew exactly what sort of wedding they wanted and everyone was looking forward to it but now it is just impossible. They will start thinking about it again when they know which club Frank will be playing at. Everything is so up in the air.”
Frank’s contract with Chelsea is due to come to an end this summer and is reportedly unlikely to be renewed.
The footballer has reportedly had others from other overseas clubs – including Paris Saint-Germain and LA Galaxy -but nothing has been finalised.
Christine recently finished her second stint as Dancing On Ice co-presenter alongside Philip Schofield – but a question mark also hangs over her future at ITV.
There has been speculation that her contract will not be renewed when it expires, after she appeared in just a small number of shows, including That Dog Can Dance and Text Santa, following her departure from Daybreak.
