Kerry Katona, Hollyoaks actress Jennifer Metcalfe and US rapper Vanilla Ice are among the celebrities set to take part in the new series of Dancing on Ice.
Ex-newsreader Angela Rippon and Victoria Cross hero Lance Corporal Johnson Beharry are also among the 16 stars hoping to compete in the ITV1 show, which returns on January 9.
Actor Steven Arnold, whose Coronation Street character Ashley Peacock was recently killed off, will be taking part alongside ex-Coronation Street actress Denise Welch, former EastEnders star Sam Attwater and Craig McLachlan – best known for his role in Neighbours.
Presenter Jeff Brazier, Cricketer Dominic Cork, BBC Radio 1’s David Vitty, Chloe Madeley, Nickelodeon star Laura Hamilton, Chelsea footballer Frank Lampard’s ex-girlfriend Elen Rives and actress turned presenter Nadia Sawalha complete the line-up.
Speaking at the show’s launch at Shepperton Studios, Surrey, reality TV star Kerry revealed that she was taking part in the show for her kids.
She said: “I want them to look out to me from the audience and say, Kerry Katona, she’s my mum.”
This year will see significant changes to the show’s format.
Although 16 are preparing for the show, it’s the viewers that will decide which 12 contestants get to stay in the competition, with four contestants being axed in the first two shows on January 9 and 16.
Spice Girl Emma Bunton and sharp-tongued choreographer Jason Gardiner will remain on the judging panel, with former figure skater Robin Cousins, as head judge.
Judge Nicky Slater announced he was leaving the show last week and will not be replaced.
But the biggest change is that judge Karen Barber now becomes head coach, training the contestants during the week and offering them support on the live shows.
Dancing on Ice launches on January 9 on ITV1.
