We’re down to the final 11 in Dancing On Ice 2011, with one more contestant set to hang up their skates for good – but this week there’s a twist….
Chloe Madeley kicked off the show with a rock n’roll themed routine….
…which once again saw her near the top of the judges’ scoreboard
Second on to the ice this week was Johnson Beharry, who enjoyed himself immensely with a routine to Bob Marley’s One Love
Kerry Katona did her best with a routine to Rihanna but received her lowest score so far
Jeff Brazier had an unfortunate moment when he nearly slipped during his routine – but recovered and saved the day
Vanilla Ice had a rough week, with a head injury and a difficult routine – but he made it through
Next it was the turn of cricketer Dominic Cork, who was hoping to escape the skate-off again this wee
The cricketer and partner Alexandra Schauman performed a 60s themed routine in Union Jack printed costumes
Laura Hamilton went for a Latin-themed routine, and received her highest score yet
Jennifer Metcalfe and Sylvain Longchambon performed a romantic routine to Dusty Springfield, but Jason had his doubts about their performance
Denise Welch received some faint praise from the judges this week for a routine that was slower than her previous efforts
It was another great week for former EastEnder Sam Attwater, who once again scored 25 out of 30
‘Comedy’ Dave Vitty and partner Frankie rounded off the show with a comical routine to the track Achy Breay Heart – which landed him right at the bottom of the scoreboard
In the results show, there was relief for Jennifer as she discovered she was one of nine couples to make it through
However Jeff found himself in the bottom two for the first time alongside Dominic – with the result to be decided by the contestants’ votes instead of the judges
Chloe was the first to cast her vote, choosing to save Jeff
And eventually Jeff received the required number of votes to remain in the competition
Which meant it was time to say goodbye to Dominic – although he didn’t take the decision personally. And so the top ten remain….
