Olympic swimmer Sharron Davies is the favourite to be booted off Dancing On Ice this weekend as the men and women compete together for the first time.

Paddy Power are offering odds of 9-4 on Davies being eliminated this weekend, with Dr Hilary Jones second favourite to go at 11-4.

Davies was in the bottom two in the first week of the show but was saved by the judges after she improved her performance and Sinitta made a glaring error during the skate-off.

Emmerdale star Hayley Tamaddon is current favourite to win the series at 2-1, followed by Coronation Street‘s Danny Young, who topped the judges’ scoreboard last weekend.

Meanwhile Gary Lucy has turned to an unlikely source in an effort to avoid the bottom two this week – his four-year-old daughter India.

The Bill star – who was saved by the judges’ in last Sunday’s skate-off, told the News Of The World, “This week’s routine is really tricky and challenging but I’m throwing myself into it and looking forward to everyone seeing the performance.”

“India especially enjoyed it this week as she has been helping me with my routine and has loved me practising the lift with her. Let’s hope I can lift Maria as well on Sunday.”

The show kicks off at 6.25pm on ITV1 and will run for two hours 20 minutes, making it the longest edition yet.
