Dancing on Ice 2011 contestant Jeff Brazier has hit back at organisers of the show’s spin-off live tour – who have reportedly not asked him to take part.

The News Of The World reports that the TV presenter has been overlooked in favour of Vanilla Ice and ‘Comedy’ Dave Vitty – despite the fact that both have been eliminated while he remains in the show.

“I am gutted to have been left off the tour,” Jeff told the paper. “For five months I have worked hard to skate to a decent level.

“Throughout the whole of this experience my ultimate target was to earn the right to feature in this year’s Dancing On Ice Tour.

“I foolishly assumed that if I had proven myself competent, polite, hardworking and a fast learner, I would have a chance.”

The 31-year-old added that the only way he could guarantee a place on the tour now was to finish in the top three – and he has vowed to do everything in his power to make it.

“It’s a long shot, but if I finish in the top three it is written in my contract that I automatically qualify for the tour,” he said.

“I’m going to train extra hard and not give the judges any reason to dismiss my performances and then my fate rests in the hands of the voting public!”
