Dancing on Ice judge Jason Gardiner has hinted that he might move to Los Angeles – thus casting speculation over his future on the ice-skating show.

Speaking at the launch of his new Discovery Channel show Alone In The Wild, the notoriously catty panellist admitted he had “no idea” whether he would be returning to Dancing On Ice next year.

“I have no idea what’s is happening with Dancing on Ice. No one has spoken to me to ask me to return so if I go, I go,” he said.

“I’ve have been to the States for secret meetings and it all looks very exciting.

“I can’t say anything because the deal isn’t completely done but a move to LA could be on the cards very soon.”

He added that he regrets some of this year’s conflicts during the series – most notably the moment when Denise Welch’s husband Tim Healy confronted him on set after he criticised her skating.

I was friends with Denise before the show and we joked about me giving her nasty comments and falling out,” Jason said. “And then we really did.

“We haven’t spoken since and I would love to patch things up.”
