Melinda Messenger has revealed her marriage to Wayne Roberts is back on track after the couple went through a “rough patch”.

The former glamour girl, who is currently competing in ITV1’s Dancing On Ice, briefly split with her husband in 2008 after a decade of marriage.

But the couple have now reconciled for the sake of their three children Morgan, eight, Flynn, six, and five-year-old Evie.

In an interview with New! magazine, Melinda, 37, said: “Like a lot of couples, we were going through a rough patch and had been arguing a lot, and we just needed to separate.

“But things are back to normal now and that’s such a great thing. I’m so happy with things now.”

Melinda is currently undergoing gruelling training sessions for Dancing On Ice but says this has helped her and Wayne, 32, to channel their energy.

She said: “All our energy is focused on the show now and Wayne’s been so great. Whenever I get in from a hard day of rehearsals, he’ll start asking me what I’ve been doing and I’ll end up recreating all the skate moves in the kitchen for him and the kids!”

The ex-Page 3 girl, who appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2002, also revealed she is rooting for this year’s Celebrity Big Brother contestants Ulrika Jonsson and Michelle Heaton.

“I know Ulrika and Michelle from just meeting them at events, and they’re both great girls”, she said. “Ulrika has got such a brilliant sense of humour and Michelle is such a smart, lovely girl.”
