Suzanne Shaw attacks celeb adoptions as ‘stunts’

Suzanne Shaw has slammed celebrities like Madonna and Angelina Jolie, branding their adoptions ‘publicity stunts’.

The Dancing On Ice winner – mum to three-year-old son Corey – wants to adopt, but not from abroad.

Suzanne, 26, told Star magazine: “I won’t be like them. I’ll adopt in this country. I won’t go to another country just for a publicity stunt. A lot of my friends are adopted and I’d like to give children the chance of a start like the one my son Corey has had.”

The former Hear’Say singer also revealed she and her old bandmate Myleene Klass, mum to seven-month-old daughter Ava, speak regularly to discuss motherhood.

She said: “We’re very close. We always talk about our babies together. Just the other week we were chatting about whether you can freeze blended food.”

But Suzanne – who is dating Virgin Radio DJ Jason ‘JK’ King – insisted she has no plans to revive her pop career.

She said: “I won’t be returning to pop music – that’s not one of my plans. I love singing Broadway songs too much. That’s my thing. But you never know what might happen. Everything is just kind of crazy at the moment!”
