Stars of big and small screen have turned out for the New Year’s Eve wedding of Billie Piper to fellow actor Laurence Fox.

The 25-year-old was five minutes early for the ceremony at the Parish Church of St Mary’s in Easebourne, West Sussex.

Doctor Who star David Tennant, Laurence’s co-star in TV show Lewis, Kevin Whately, Billie’s ex-husband Chris Evans and Laurence’s father and uncle, the actors James and Edward Fox, were among those attending.

Billie – who appeared in Dr Who with David – wore a low-cut ivory formal wedding dress with a black coat draped over her shoulders.

She was accompanied by four bridesmaids in short purple dresses.

The wedding took place about half a mile from the couple’s £750,000 home in Midhurst.

The 29-year-old bridegroom arrived 45 minutes before the ceremony was due to start.

David, dressed in a flamboyant burgundy velvet suit, arrived at the church at the same time as Kevin, to cheers from the public lining the road.

Radio and TV star Chris arrived with his wife Natasha Shishmanian, but then decided to walk across the road to the local pub.

James Fox waved to the crowd as he went into the church, followed by Chris and his wife.

Laurence and Billie emerged as man and wife from the church after a 50-minute ceremony.

Laurence embraced the vicar before the couple got into a silver Chrysler and were driven away to a reception which is believed to be at one of Chris’s pubs.
