Upset by the commotion, the family move around Carol, to protect her and the gang eventually leave
The family are stunned though when Carol tells them to leave her alone, and she jumps into a car with Billie's dad Alan and great-gran, Blossom
Meanwhile, Whitney and the gang pay their respects at Billie's shrine
After the funeral, Carol and Alan discuss the tragic events
An emotional Carol misread the signals and tries to kiss Alan, who quickly leaves
Alone and distraught, Carol writes a suicide note, pours herself a drink and prepares to take a handful of pills to end her life...
But she's interrupted when Connor bursts through the back door. United in their grief, they break down in each others' arms, which then leads to a kiss...
