Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) is back from Canada – and she’s going to reappear in Albert Square later this year.

“I was absolutely delighted to be asked to return to the Square,” says Emma. “Cliché as it sounds, it’s like coming home.

“I’ve had a wonderful time treading the boards but can’t wait to put Honey’s shoes back on and find out what’s she’s been up to and what the future has in store.”

Hopefully, her future will involve Billy (Perry Fenwick) getting to see his son, William, and Janet seeing her mum and brother.

But is that where the happiness will end?

Honey has broken Billy’s heart more than once – most recently it was last year.

Billy thought he was going to win back his ex-wife then, but Honey had only come to Albert Square to tell him she was off to work in Canada for a year.

She left and took William with her, but let Billy have custody of  Janet.

The thing is, Honey has taken both of their children away from Billy before, in 2008, when their marriage fell apart.

Would Honey do that to Billy again?

EastEnders says Honey is due to return to our screens later this year…  At Christmas?

Honey could come back and give Billy the best Christmas he has ever had by agreeing to give him another chance.

Or…She could come back at Christmas and totally destroy Billy’s happy little world with Janet.

Billy’s already lost granddaughter Lola (Danielle Harold) and great-granddaughter Lexi this year.

Is he going to be left completely alone?

EastEnders continues on BBC1, Monday, September 7, 8.00pm
