Danny says he's a 'lucky guy' to be working with Letitia
EastEnders actor Danny Walters has described co-star Letitia Dean as being a “joy to work with” as on screen their characters Keanu Taylor and Sharon Mitchell get up close and personal.
The 25-year-old actor, who joined the soap last year, said that while saucy scenes – Sharon and Keanu shared a passionate kiss last night – can be “awkward” to shoot he felt he was a “lucky guy” to be working with 50-year-old Letitia.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz, Danny said: “I feel a lot of responsibility for the character to work. We’ve really had a lot of fun, me and Letitia Dean.
“To have that storyline with anyone in the cast… I’m a lucky guy to work with Letitia because she’s so experienced, she’s such a joy to work with.
“Doing those sorts of scenes can be awkward and hard but we’ve had such a fun time doing those scenes. I’ve been lucky to have the opportunity to work with Letitia.”
Plot wise the big question in EastEnders is who caught Keanu and Sharon kissing in last night’s episode?
As the pair locked lips, they heard the door to the garage slamming… who was observing them and why? Sharon looked very worried!
Keanu will certainly be in big trouble if Phil Mitchell finds out! Talking about working with Steve McFadden, who plays Phil, Danny added: “Steve is great. Every time I work with him I’m learning. I’ve learnt so much just from working with him.”
EastEnders continues tonight on BBC1 at 7.30pm.
