Ex-EastEnders star Sam Strike is a long way from Albert Square as he is stalked by an evil presence in space in a new Netflix series Nightflyers
Ex-EastEnders star Sam Strike can be seen next in a new sci-fi series, Nightflyers, which is coming to Netflix and is based on a short story by Game Of Thrones author George R R Martin.
Nightflyers follows the scary adventures of a team of scientists as they board a craft called The Nightflyer and travel to the edge of the solar system in search of alien life form. But their mission takes a terrifying turn and soon it’s a fight for survival! Sam stars as a character called Thale, who in the original 1980 Nightflyers story is a telepath who detects a scary presence who is out to kill the crew…
Sam quit his role as Mick and Linda’s gay son Johnny Carter in EastEnders in 2014, and has since appeared in episodes of BBC 1’s Silent Witness and Netflix’s Mind Hunter. He has also appeared in the horror film Leatherface and the upcoming Monster Party, about three teenage thieves who gate-crash a fancy dinner party secretly being hosted by a serial killer cult!
Nightflyers begins on Netflix later this year.
