Emmerdale actress Natalie J Robb says filming her latest soap stunt wasn’t fun.
Her character Moira Barton and husband John – played by James Thornton – are set to have a car accident, as the couple try to give their marriage another try following her affair with Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), reported Soaplife.
In the dramatic scenes to screen on Thursday, February 16, reports suggest that the pair have a race against time as they try to escape to safety when their vehicle slides to the end of a ravine, after hitting a patch of ice.
“[It was] Amazing. It was hard work – two night shoots – but it was quite overwhelming the way everyone mucked in and pulled together,” Natalie told the magazine.
“We shot it all in the story order – which is very unusual – and that made it seem all the more real, and terrible.”
Details of the consequences are being kept under wraps, but Natalie revealed she is glad to see Moira and John attempting to rekindle their romance before the crash.
“James Thornton and I were really happy about that. They revisit their love and there’s something so nice and innocent about it,” she added.
James is leaving Emmerdale after announcing he was quitting to spend more time with his wife – Gavin And Stacey star Joanna Page – at home in London.
