Can Michael Phelps add more gold to his medal cabinet?

This will be the first chance to watch USA’s Olympic titan Michael Phelps in action, as he takes to the pool for the 4x100m freestyle relay (you’ll have to stay up very late or record it – it’s on at 3.40am!). He already has more Olympic medals than any other person in history: a staggering 22, 18 of which are gold. We Brits will be more interested in 21-year-old Adam Peaty, though, who will compete in the 100m breaststroke today. This amazing swimmer is the current world record holder for this race (as well as the 50m). Not since Adrian Moorhouse, back in the 1988 Seoul Olympics, has a British man delivered a gold in swimming, but Peaty is looking to break that curse…
