A new receptionist stuns Julia

It’s Mrs Tembe’s first day and she impresses everyone by working out who they all are. She is particularly taken by Heston but unimpressed by Daniel and insists everyone must call her Mrs Tembe.

By the end of the day, Julia admits to her she felt as if she and the Mill were on trial rather than the other way round. Mrs Tembe agrees and says she’ll give them a month’s trial and leaves Julia stunned!

Elaine suggests she and Heston visit Simon – he tries to get out of it but goes anyway. Sue clears away all objects that she thinks Simon could use to harm himself and ends up crying as she tries to get Simon to open up.

When Heston and Elaine arrive Sue goes to the Mill to see Zara. Sue tells how Simon nearly died as a child, and Zara tells her about their care program, reassuring her they’re going to do everything possible to help Simon.

Elaine outlines Simons care program, but he wants to know why it’s taken Heston so long to come to see him. Heston says its because he doesn’t understand people who want to take their own lives. Simon asks him to leave. As he does he meets a grateful Sue on her way in and he feels like a heel when she hugs him.

Daniel helps the surgery cleaner when pretending to be someone else gets her into a tricky situation.
