Diagnosed with early onset vascular dementia, Ashley’s worst fears have been confirmed. As he crumbles, Bob urges him to tell Harriet.

Having crashed into the side of the church with Kerry while they’re out riding a tandem, Bernice dusts herself down. She’s worried about her wrist, but the barmaid soon realises Kerry’s got way more to worry about. Her friend really wasn’t messing about when she said she couldn’t see.
