It's the race we've all being waiting for, featuring the world's fastest man...

Today’s the day for the Olympics’ most popular event: the men’s 100m final (2.25am).

Coming straight after the men’s 400m final (2.00am), the 100m should feature the most famous athlete on the planet – Usain Bolt.

The two-time defending champion is still the fastest recorded man in history, and had a phenomenal 2015 when he went to the Beijing World Championships and won three gold medals, the third time he’s achieved that, making a ‘triple triple’.

Bolt has said that he will retire next year after the World Championships in London. But will the likes of American Justin Gatlin spoil today’s party for Bolt?
