British Airways 24/7 is a new series going behind the scenes at the airline, charting the fortunes of the business and following the people who work to keep the planes flying and passengers happy
There have been documentaries about British Airways before but this new four-part series promises unprecedented access to the famous brand. In BA’s centenary year, Channel 5’s cameras have been given exclusive access to all areas of the business, from the boardroom to the boarding gate.
In tonight’s first episode we meet the man responsible for revamping onboard food, menu design manager Mark Tazziolli, and there’s a trip to Japan to find out about the new Heathrow to Osaka route.
Plus, later in the series, coverage of a red carpet event as HM the Queen visits British Airways HQ to mark its 100-year anniversary.
