The remaining four face the dreaded skills and knowledge test. The challenge is to recognise three types of egg and three different mushrooms before making a fry-up.

Next, they travel to motor-racing track Brooklands to cook for 80 hungry staff, before heading back to HQ to cook their best two courses for former champ Kimberly Wyatt, finalist Rylan Clark-Neal and semi-finalist Rev Richard Coles.

Only two go through to the semi-finals.
