Diane Morgan’s glorious comic character Philomena Cunk has another hilarious crack at the nation’s history in the second outing of Cunk on Britain, starting with a look at ‘King Henry of Eight’ and his ‘chronic wife addiction’.

She also wonders whether ‘will.i.am Shakespeare’ would have made a good TV writer, muses on ‘Vegan Queen’ Elizabeth I’s role as ‘the season finale of the Tudors’ and baffles historians with surreal questions on Francis Drake, the Great Fire of London and the death of ‘Horror-show Nelson’.

Please note this programme airs at 11.15pm in N Ireland.
